How to convert one measurement unit to another?

Measurement Conversion Chart: -  

 

10 MM ( Millimeter)	= 1 CM (Centimeter)
2.54 CM (Centimeters)	= 1 INCH
10 CM (Centimeters)	= 1 DM ( Decimeter)
100 CM (Centimeters)	= 1 M ( Meter)
1000  MM ( Millimeters)	= 1 M ( Meter)
1 M ( Meter)	= 39.37 Inches
12 Inches	= 1 Feet
3 Feet	= 1 Yard
1 Yard	= 0.914 M ( Meter)

Measurement Abbreviations: -
M = Meter,
CM = Centimeter,
MM = Millimeter,
YD = Yard,
1” = 1 Inch,
1’ = 1 Feet
How to convert one measurement unit to another unit?
It requires a conversion factors to convert one measurement unit to another unit.
Let’s see how can we covert one unit to another unit.
 Example.01;
Question. 1M (Meter). = (?) Inches
Answer: As we know,
1 Inch = 2.54 CM (Centimeters) & 100 CM (Centimeters) = 1M (Meter).
So,
1 M (Meter) = 100 / 2.54 Inches.
        = 39.37 Inches.

Example.02;
Question. 1 Yard = (?) M (Meter).
Answer: As we know,
1 Yard = 3 Feet,
1 Feet = 12 Inches,
39.36 Inches = 1 M (Meter),
So,
1 yard = 12 X 3 inches = 36 inches
If, 39.36 Inches = 1M (Meter).
Then, 1 Inches = 1 / 39.36 =0.0254 M (Meter)
Then, 36 Inches = 0.0254 X 36 M (Meter) = 0.914 M (Meter).
So the answer is 1 Yard = 0.914 M (Meter)
There are many other ways to convert one unit to another unit. In Example 3. I am going to show this conversion by using different conversion factors.
Example.03;
Question. 1 Yard = (?) M (Meter).
Answer: As we know,
1 Yard = 3 Feet,
1 Feet = 12 Inches,
1 Inch = 2.54 CM (Centimeters),
And 100 CM (Centimeters) = 1 M (Meter).
So,
1 yard = 12 X 3 inches = 36 inches
If, 1 Inch = 2.54 CM (Centimeters),
Then 36 inches =2.54 X 36 =91.44 CM (Centimeters),
We also know 100 CM (Centimeters) = 1 M (Meter).
If, 100 CM (Centimeters) = 1 M (Meter)
Then, 1 CM (Centimeters)= 1/100 =0.01M (Meter)
Then, 91.44 CM(Centimeters) = 91.44 X 0.01 = 0.9144 M (Meter)
So, the answer is also the same again,
